Day 1: Casablanca Arrival
We’ll pick you up at the airport and take you to see the sights of Casablanca, including the stunning Hassan II Mosque and the iconic Rick’s Café, where you’ll enjoy dinner. Spend your first night at a hotel in Casablanca with bed and breakfast.
Day 2: Casablanca to Chefchaoun
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Chefchaouen, passing through Souk Larbaa and Ouazzane. The drive takes us through an agricultural area where sugar cane, bananas, and olives are grown. Once we reach Ouazzane, we’ll head up the Rif Mountains to our destination, Chefchaouen. You’ll stay overnight in a riad, either Assilah or Dar Chaouen, with bed and breakfast included.
Day 3: Chefchaouen to Fez
As we venture southward from our morning repast, the verdant plains of Ouazzane unfold before us in a picturesque panorama of natural beauty. The gentle undulations of the landscape, adorned with swathes of vibrant greenery, create a soothing backdrop for our travels. Along the way, we may catch glimpses of rural life, with locals going about their daily activities amidst the fertile fields.
Our path leads us ever closer to Fez, a city steeped in history and tradition, where ancient alleys intertwine with modern marvels. Day 4: Fez City Tour
After breakfast at your Riad, we’ll embark on an enriching journey through the cultural heart of Morocco: Fes. As the oldest living medieval Islamic city, Fes boasts a rich heritage of culture and learning that has flourished since its inception.
Our exploration begins in the captivating labyrinth of the Fes Medina, a bustling hive of activity that pulsates with the energy of daily life. Here, amidst the maze-like alleys, you’ll encounter a vibrant tapestry of sights, sounds, and scents that weave together to create an immersive sensory experience.
As we navigate through the narrow lanes, you’ll witness scenes straight out of a bygone era: donkeys laden with goods winding their way through the bustling crowds, artisans crafting intricate Zellige tiles, and the pungent aroma of leather emanating from the historic tanneries. Amidst the hustle and bustle, you might hear the distinctive call of “balak” as locals warn of their donkeys’ approach, adding to the lively ambiance of the Medina.

Day 5: Ifrane, Ziz Valley and Merzouga
Today’s journey promises breathtaking scenery at every turn. We’ll traverse through the picturesque Alpine Village of Ifrane, where quaint charm meets stunning landscapes. Continuing our route, we’ll venture into the cedar forests, home to the majestic Barbary apes in their natural habitat.
As we ascend into the Middle Atlas Mountains, prepare to be captivated by the rugged beauty of this mountainous terrain. Our path then leads us through the fertile Ziz Valley, renowned as the largest date-producing region in Morocco.
The landscape undergoes a mesmerizing transformation as we approach the city of Errachidia. Along the way, we’ll make stops to admire panoramic vistas that unfold before us, offering glimpses of the scenic beauty that surrounds us.
Our journey culminates in the enchanting desert town of Merzouga, where the golden sands of the Sahara beckon. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink before settling into your accommodations at Riad Kasbah, ready to unwind and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the desert oasis. Bed, breakfast, and dinner await, promising a delightful end to an unforgettable day of exploration.
Day 6: Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert – Merzouga
Get ready for an exhilarating adventure as we delve into the wonders of the Sahara and its surrounding villages by 4WD. Along the way, we’ll make stops to search for fossils, immerse ourselves in the mesmerizing rhythms of live Gnawa music, and indulge in the traditional hospitality of a nomad family over a refreshing mint tea.
As the afternoon unfolds, you’ll embark on a magical camel ride guided by an experienced camel man, traversing the undulating sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the sunset painting the desert sky in hues of gold and crimson as we journey towards our desert camp for the night.
Day 7: Toudghra Gorges, Dades Valley and Ouarzazate
Wake up early to catch the mesmerizing sunrise over Erg Chebbi, a sight not to be missed. Then, embark on a serene camel ride back to the Riad, allowing you to soak in the ever-changing beauty of the dunes as the morning light transforms the landscape.
After refreshing with a shower and indulging in a delicious breakfast, we’ll set out for an adventure-packed day exploring Rissani, Tinghir, and the renowned Todgha Gorges. In Rissani, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of the Souk, a historic meeting place for trade caravans journeying from Timbuktu.
Continuing our journey, we’ll venture into the majestic Todgha Valley, where we’ll take a leisurely stroll through the towering Todgha Gorge, marveling at the sheer magnitude of the rocky cliffs that surround us. Our next destination is the captivating Dades Valley, renowned for its striking geological formations sculpted by the sands of time.
As the day draws to a close, we’ll make our way to Ouarzazate, where you’ll spend the night in the comfort of a hotel, reflecting on the day’s adventures and anticipating the wonders that tomorrow will bring. Bed, breakfast, and dinner await, ensuring a restful end to an exhilarating day of exploration.
Day 8: Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou and Marrakech
Welcome to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa” for its rich cinematic history and breathtaking landscapes. Just a short 30-minute drive from the city, you’ll discover the ancient village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing the distinctive architecture of the southern region.
Our journey continues as we traverse the majestic High Atlas Mountains, ascending to the heights of the Tichka Pass at an elevation of 2260 meters. Along the way to Marrakesh, we’ll pause for scenic photo stops, allowing you to capture the awe-inspiring beauty of the mountainous terrain.
As evening falls, we’ll arrive in Marrakesh, where you’ll enjoy a tranquil overnight stay at a charming riad. Bed and breakfast await, ensuring a restful end to our day of exploration through Morocco’s diverse landscapes and cultural heritage.
Day 9: Marrakech City Tour
After a hearty breakfast at the Riad, get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of Marrakech. Your guided tour will lead you through the city’s rich history and culture, exploring iconic landmarks such as the Saadian Tombs, the majestic El Bahia Palace, and the historic Ben Youssef Coranic School, with the towering Kotoubia Tower as a backdrop.
In the afternoon, we’ll venture to the serene oasis of the Majorelle Garden, where lush botanical wonders await. As evening approaches, the bustling energy of Jamaa Elfna awaits, offering a sensory feast of sights and sounds as you stroll amidst magicians, storytellers, food vendors, and local artisans.
After a day of exploration in Marrakech, we’ll set off for Essaouira, a charming coastal town nestled along the Atlantic coast. Here, you’ll enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at a traditional riad, where the sounds of the sea will lull you into a restful slumber. Bed and breakfast await, ensuring you’re fully recharged for the adventures that await in Essaouira.
Day 10: Transfer to the Airport
