Day 1: Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou, Rose Valley and Dades Valley

Begin your adventure from your Marrakech accommodation as we journey through the awe-inspiring High Atlas Mountains, navigating the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass. The route promises stunning views of rugged peaks and serpentine roads, showcasing the raw beauty of Morocco’s landscape.

Our first destination is the historic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This ancient fortress, among the oldest and best-preserved kasbahs in Southern Morocco, invites you to wander through its maze-like alleys and admire its mud-brick architecture. It’s a place where history comes alive, having featured in countless films and TV shows.

After exploring Ait Ben Haddou’s rich history and architectural wonders, we’ll pause for a delightful lunch amidst the scenic backdrop. Relish traditional Moroccan dishes and soak up the serene atmosphere of this iconic location.

Our journey continues into the enchanting Dades Valley, often referred to as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. Here, you’ll be captivated by the grand kasbahs and fortified villages scattered across the landscape, each exuding its own unique charm and story.

As evening falls, we arrive at our hotel in the Dades Valley. Unwind and relax after a day full of exploration. Enjoy a delectable dinner infused with local flavors before retiring to your comfortable accommodations for a restful night’s sleep.

Day 2: Dades Valley, Todgha Gorge and Merzouga

Awake with renewed energy as we set off on an exhilarating journey to the enchanting Sand Dunes of Erg Chebbi. Our first stop is the awe-inspiring Todgha Gorge, where towering canyon walls rise dramatically against the clear blue sky. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through this natural marvel, taking in its stunning beauty and rugged charm.

After exploring the Todgha Gorge, we’ll continue our adventure to Tinjadad for a delightful lunch. Savor a delicious meal in picturesque surroundings, fueling up for the next leg of our journey.

Arriving at the Merzouga Sahara Dunes, prepare for an iconic desert experience. Mount your camel and embark on a captivating ride through the golden sands, the vast desert landscape unfolding before you. As the sun begins to set, watch as the dunes are bathed in a warm, golden light, creating a mesmerizing vista.

As dusk falls, witness the breathtaking desert sunset—a moment of serene beauty that will remain etched in your memory. We then make our way to a camp nestled among the dunes, where a warm Berber welcome awaits.

Gather around a crackling campfire under a starlit sky, enjoying the enchanting melodies of local Berber musicians. Indulge in a sumptuous dinner featuring traditional Moroccan cuisine, savoring the rich flavors and aromas of the desert. Afterward, retire to your comfortable Berber tent for a night of restful sleep, surrounded by the serene tranquility of the Sahara.

Day 3: Merzouga – Nkoub – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakesh

After enjoying the spectacular sunrise and a delicious breakfast, we will begin our drive back to Marrakech via the picturesque Draa Valley and the rugged Anti-Atlas Mountains. The journey will be leisurely, with stops every two hours to visit notable sites, capture stunning photographs, or simply enjoy a refreshing coffee break. Each stop offers a chance to soak in the diverse landscapes and cultural richness of this beautiful region, ensuring a memorable and comfortable journey back to Marrakech.
