Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech, Ait Ben Haddou, Skoura and Dades Valley

Depart from Marrakech and traverse the High Atlas Mountains via Tichka Pass (2260m), with stops to admire the stunning valleys and Berber villages. Explore Ait Ben Haddou village, have lunch at a local restaurant, and journey through Skoura palm grove. Continue to the Valley of Roses along the scenic “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Arrive at Dades Gorges for an overnight stay in a hotel overlooking the captivating gorges. Enjoy dinner and breakfast during your stay.

Day 2:  Todgha Gorge, Erfoud and Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)

After breakfast, we journey to Todgha Gorges, followed by a visit to the palm groves of Tinjdada and Eljerf. Experience the fossil show in Erfoud, offering a glimpse into the past. We then head directly to the dunes of Merzouga for a camel ride and to enjoy the sunset. Spend the night in a nomad camp. Enjoy dinner and breakfast during your stay.

Day 3: Draa Valley, Atlas Mountains and Ouarzazate

After enjoying the morning sunrise, you’ll ride your camel back to the hotel for a shower and breakfast. We’ll then visit a large traditional market in the area before continuing to the Reg Desert, where the Acacia Radiana thrives in the dry environment. Our next stop is the lush Draa Valley, followed by crossing the Anti-Atlas Mountains via the Tinififte Pass.

Day 4: Marrakech Drop Off

On day 4, our first stop is the Kasbah of Tourirte, once the residence of Glaoui, the Pacha of Marrakech. This well-restored Berber Kasbah offers a glimpse into traditional architecture. In Ouarzazate, known as African Hollywood, we’ll tour the cinema studios where famous movies like Lawrence of Arabia and The Mummy were filmed. After lunch on the return journey, we’ll drop you off at your hotel or Riad in Marrakech.
